Smile Essentials – a cost-effective solution for taking care of your smile

Smile Essentials includes routine and general dental treatments at reduced fees, such as dental health exams, x-rays, and fillings. Treatments under Smile Essentials will be provided at reduced fees.

For details of applicable fees, please consult with the practice for the Smile Essentials Pricing List. Practices reserve the right to amend the pricing of Smile Essentials at any time. Price changes will apply to future appointments and will not affect any course of treatment already commenced.

Smile Essentials will be offered to new patients at the practice and to patients that have lapsed due to affordability. Smile Essentials is subject to availability, as each practice will operate with a capped number of Smile Essentials patients, at the practice’s sole discretion. Eligibility does not guarantee appointment availability. Appointments are subject to availability and cannot be transferred to other patients.

For the avoidance of doubt, Smile Essentials does not replace NHS or private services, and all existing NHS and private services will continue to operate alongside Smile Essentials.

Smile Essentials pricing

Prior to enrolling in Smile Essentials and a key point that will determine eligibility, is the requirement that patients must be flexible and willing to accept appointments offered under Smile Essentials. Patients may receive an invitation for an appointment at short notice and must be comfortable with the on-demand, low hassle nature of Smile Essentials.

Westhill Dental & Implant Clinic will have a limited number of appointment slots per week. Smile Essentials appointments will be offered at restricted times, during off-peak hours. Practices make no guarantee of continuous or immediate availability of appointment slots.

Limitations

Westhill Dental & Implant Clinic will exercise reasonable care to ensure that the treatment provided is safe and effective. However, Westhill Dental & Implant Clinic cannot guarantee that the treatment will be free from all risks. The practice accepts no liability on behalf of the treating clinician and acts strictly as a liaison between the patient and the treating clinician only. In the unlikely event that you experience any issues; we encourage you to contact the practice immediately so that we can address your concerns. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights, including any claims for personal injury that may arise due to negligence.

Westhill Dental & Implant Clinic retains full discretion to exercise any action it considers necessary in relation to Smile Essentials, including but not limited to withdrawing a patient, adjusting patient caps, changing appointment availability, modifying pricing or treatment scope, amending, suspending or discontinuing Smile Essentials in its entirety.

If Smile Essentials is suspended or discontinued, Westhill Dental & Implant Clinic warrants to complete any commenced or ongoing course of treatment but may withdraw availability for future appointments and reasonable notice of changes will be given, wherever practicable. Once a Course of Treatment is completed, the practice may decline to offer further Smile Essentials appointments if capacity on Smile Essentials has reached or if the Plan is suspended or discontinued.

Smile Essentials is open to people aged 18 and over only. We may update these conditions from time to time. We will communicate material changes clearly and in advance, where practicable. If any part of these conditions becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
